Where and how to attach an amp?

hi all,

im wondering where and how to attach an amp for my subs,

ive seen them built into the sides, i like that but how do i do that


does anyone have a pic of an empty mk2 ph1 clio boot

A lot of people attach it to the box that the sub is placed in.
Most amps should come with little mounting brackets...

thing is im building the sub into the spare wheel well, i was also thinking of making a frame for the rear seat and fitting it onto that

I've screwed an MDF sheet in and then screwed the amp to that and put the sub on a false floor. I like it but it could be a lot neater. If you want to build it in somewhere you need to build a housing for it, so if you want it at the side you need to build a box or something to mount it on.

Unzip the back of the seat covering and you can drill holes in the wood and cable tie to the the grid in the back of the seat.

I've done it, it works well.

I've got it on 2 hinges screwed to the side I think, I cant remember where the hinges are screwed to now :S
