Sand them down, easy enough job to do!! then give it a lick of primer, paint and lacquer and jobs a gudden

Haha!! Nah easy to do, time is not hard to spend on things!! Just sanding down with fine sandpaper is hard

if your sanding them down id get them on a belt sander to get the majority of the lettering off then get some fine sandpaper out
