where do I live? for insurance...

At what point do you have to tell your car insurance company that you are keeping your car at another address.

Im up in Leeds for 2 weeks with my car parked on the street. I dont imagine i have to tell them about that.

But at what point do i have to tell them?

Here for a month? Dont they charge to change the policy?

Then what if i go home for a month at xmas... do i have to change it back, and then at Easter... etc etc. you get the idea

If you spend more time at home then dont bother changing it. If its only a month or 2 then its still spending most of its time where you said it would.

yeah, over a whole year it probably spends more time at home, but only by a few weeks

I lived away for a few months i didnt tell my insurance company cause it still spent more time at home. Didnt even think about telling them to be honest it was only an 15 mile difference where it spent the other time anyway.
