Where is the tdc sensor?

in my 1.2 16v its below the air filter to the left real hard to see as my engine by was filthy, replaced mine yesterday... Duno if thats anyhelp

You've got to take your Turbo off... Ahem.

Get your air box and or air filter out the way...

and thats what it looks like, 10mm socket or spanner to get it off, just unclip the block plug. If you've got a new one from Renault your replacing it with you'll need a blow torch, some wire strippers etc

Just buy a new one, wouldn't bother cleaning it for the cost.

It didnt look very dirty at all....is the metal pickup bit supposed to be covered in s**t when it needs cleaning? It was spotless.

so my starting problem must be somewhere else. Will check battery next.

yes probably, might go back to this if no joy.

I guess I could stick a meter across it and see what happens.
