Where The Hell’s The Dipstick

172 mk 2...tried to impress the girlfriend with my oil topping up ability..but where the heck is the dipstick?

a/c air con?...its a Mk 2 172 with climate control....looking in the manual the dipstick is under the plastic engine cover?...but its such a schlapp to get off?

deep down the front of the engine on my 1.6 should imagine it would be around the same area! they r a biach to get to even on a 1.6 so it must be hidden away down the front somewhere i should think

piece of piss, down the front, the cast piece you can see protruding from under the front of the engine cover, basically look between there and the back of the rad and youll see it, from memory it has an orange handle. is tucked away but its not that hard to find

yep down the front of the engine, youll find it, its only short.
