Say you had £15k to spend on a track car project, what car would you choose and what mods would you make?
Think I would spend it on:
4-4.5k on a high mileage but sound 172 cup
5k on throttle bodies
1.5k on LEDA sus
1k for some decent bucket seats and harnesses
1k on a full roll cage
400 on an exhaust and decat
800 on 4 Pot brakes and some carbon discs
500 on some decent tyres
20 on silvervisions
spend the rest on bits and bobs little steering wheel, and replacing the windows for plastic ones.
Obviously the usual shiz of removing rear seats, tar etc to save some weight.
Personally I think that would be an awesome track car. Saying that it would be cheaper to get an 205 Mi16 already with throttle bodies, which would be about 4k to buy lol.
