Which brake fluid?

topped up the brake fluid in the cup last night, using DOT 3 as the cap indicates.

My old man was saying that DOT 4 or 5 would be better though, as it has a higher boiling temp.

Would DOT 4 or 5 be better to use? or is DOT 3 good enough. Obviously renault think DOT 3 is adequate, but then what do they know! lol

  Pink Cup Racer
If you track the car then Silkolene prorace 2000 excellent. Or more expensive CastrolSRF.

If not the Castrol response or a brand name dot4.

I wouldnt go for dot 5, but dot4 is good. Try some silolene pro race 2000, its very good stuff.

Cheers guys,

I'll be looking to uprate the pads next year some time (as i assume they are low for the brake fluid to go down, and the light on the dash to keep flashing at me everytime i go over a bump, lol) So when i get new pads, i'll drian the fluid and put some decent stuff in.
