Which Comps £200-£300

Not sure which ones to go for, and what amp should i run them with? I also need advice on what sub to go for, ive just bought a RF 1500bd to run my 12" L7 Solobaric, i find the SQ isnt too great on it. I was looking at the JL High Output enclosures, are they worht the cash?

ive just got some polk momo comps, mm455, reatil £500. but new stock they are last sasons stock, so you can pick them off a 001 mobile for about £200, thas what i did. Im very impressed with them

best bet is this years momo, mb quart, focal, diamond audio, and many other manufacturers, but none of the mainstream

speak to me via pm and i will advise you of other companies who have an interest in SQ, if you are more into SPL then JL Audio are the best bet

I wouldve said JL are more SQ & SPL for subwoofers bambam? unlike the rival directed audio who have the same kind of classes but are more directed at SPL?

in essence JL audio are more SPL than SQ,

yes they sound pretty good, but in no way are they SQ speakers

ah fair play. I think Im gonna need help soon on choosing a sub that is good for both and needs to work in a relatively small enclosure!!

i have the 8" which sounds awesome, produces silly volumes (when pushed) and works in a very small enclosure

the 10" will be very similar IMO

and whys that BamBam?!!

i built my system with nothing but SQ in mind! running mm455 polk momos up front (which is why papa advised speaking to me i would have thought) i got a wicked deal from 001 mobile, paid less then £200 for my momos comps brand new)

also running a sealed JL 10 3w2 sub from a v12, comps are running from a 200rms alpine amp.

Focal FOcal FOcal all the way the new Poly Kevalr K2s are amazing sound quality i have had focal for a year now back nad front well pleased and if you check total car audio they wont component of the year!!

Cant be bad!!

I allways like the sound of focal subs to SQ over spl every time

Yeah, Polk Momo - £200 ? The only ones on 001 mobile are like £330.... I guess I missed the special offer

Polk Momos or MB Quart Qs would be my choice. If fitting in front can use the QM216 5.25 inch or get a bigger hole made for QM218 6.5 inch like I did.
