which ipod docking station speakers?

looking to get the mrs a speaker system for her iphone, between 50 to 100£.

any that you would recommend or avoid like the plague?

I sell the stuff all day at John Lewis. The Bose ones are the best but £200+

I'd recommend going into a shop and trying them out for yourself.

I'd go for the JBL OnStage IIIP for that money, it's GSM shielded and iPhone compatible.

If you get the model without P at the end it's not shielded AFAIK.

I have an onstage II, the sound is ace and the remote works from miles away but as it's not iPhone compatible it doesn't charge my phone and isn't shielded

I'd look out for that on any speaker you consider chap.

Not sure if its what you are wanting but its half price at tesco at the moment making it a bargain £45. Got it because i needed a new alarm clock and an easy way to charge my iphone in my bedroom. It really is good though, some cool features like waving your hand over the top to put snooze on. Also sound quality is excellent.

I have one for my 3GS and 160Gb Ipod and the sound is amazing although it was 200+ from John Lewis.

But i guess you get what you pay for.
