A, indeed its been ragged, short journeys, cold engine thrashings.

B, its new until you put the first 1k miles on it, then if you decided to sell there would be threads of "Is 1k on a car too many miles? Will my engine be ok? Can it take another 1k before i need a rebuild?"

C is sensible, you miss the depreciation, only have a bit of tidying up to do and if your lucky still have a warranty. Just use common sense when looking at the car.

Not really, most do it regardless as it helps to sell the car and they can charge Renault for the work. I went to look at a 182 a while back, had scrapes and marks all over it, the sales exec said it will be going to the bodyshop for work to be carried out and will be like new. Unless its very insignificant marks that only you spot, they will repair it.

id have a new one as you can spec it with the things you would want as i doubt you would find many used examples with a high amount of options with if i did id consider a used one if it was MINT

Agree with the first statement. I am a fussy git and knew the only way I would be happy with my 182 was to buy new. Though would not make a habit of it, have always looked for good second hand cars as the normal.
