just put eibach sportline on. not gone that much lower yet but will hopefully settle down and no loss in ride comfort

well is there much difference in price as i think the apex ones are a bit more expensive but is the quality better?

lol no comment joke well just that the apex springs are £78 and my car is already a hard ride with the 17s on it lol

is it just better going for the eibach springs? the sport or pro ones?

i cant go for the sport line ones as it work wreck my shocks and would probably rub on my wheels as they are 50mm drop

okay thanx i was just looking at the h&rs theyre just a bit cheeper than the eibach but which is better? how much did urs lower?

i cant really afford to spend £140 on springs lol

im after something that is not cheap and crap but reasonable cheap and with good results, all i can think of is apex, spax, g-maxx, avo?

most people on here with apex seem to think they are good value for money R3OBC has had both the 40mm and 60mmm ones with 17s 16vClio has them with 16s an Eviljohn has them on his with 15s speak to either of them

do 17s fit with 60mm then? i would love to see that!!!! lol

i think i may go for the apex ones as i know a guy from college with the 60mm ones and thats well low and he just says that they are alright really not that hard of a ride as ive been in the car with him?

wow!! does it rub on the arches? i bet there isnt much gap between the wheel and the body?

i guess if i put 60mm springs on mine it would be ok, would it make a difference as mine is the newer shape clio?

and does yours bottom out atall? as my m8s dampers have collapsed and his is 60mm droped with 15s on it?

thanx simon

nope, doesnt rub the arches, and wont if the wheels are the right offset.

The new shape clio is the same chassis basically as mine, it wont make a difference.

Im guessing your mate is on standard dampers? im on adjustable uprated dampers... could go lower on them id imagine. Infact im still considering custom springs for a 80mm drop at the front...

what offset are your wheels as imine are et35, i just wanna put springs on but will 60mm be alright? how long will the dampers last?

dampers probably wont last very long imo. My wheels are et38 and are 7" wide if i remember correctly, brings them 3mm closer into the arch than yours. 3mm is nothing though, its not that tight under the arches anyway.

the apex spring and damper set is a little firmer but a good kit appaerntly.. its whats going on mine next week. £269 for the full kit
