  1.8 Civic EX
Home use, not gaming, just internet, normal office applications, already have a wireless network at home so ideally with some sort of wireless built in so I can connect without having to buy any extras (i know chuff all about pc specs etc, the main thing I don't understand is the wirless stuff so any help appreciated)

needs to run pretty quick as will storing lots of pics etc

idealy don't want to spend any more that £600

I'm think some of these look quite good..

opinions....sugestions....cheaper places to buy?

alo9s is there such a cable that splits one PCI socket into two? Currently have the 360 on my LCD but would be cool to be able to split it so I can switch between the 360 and the laptop

thanks

You may f**k up your monitor sending two signals into the same socket though.

ever considered Dell?

yeah I've had a quick look at Dell too but as I said I know next to nothing about specs/processers/ram etc...means nothing to me lol

The lesser spec Vaio will be fine and pretty solid. Much better build quality than the others, including Dell.

  Revels Mum & Sister
The Vaio IMO are over priced, the build quality ISNT that much better IMO than a lot of the other brands. We see a fair few Vaio's through the workshop at work.

Vaio maybe slightly overpriced but you pay for a solid chassis, good screen, and decent parts. They also run quieter and cooler. You can definately tell the difference in quality compared to Dell, Acer, Mesh etc. They do break too but so do expensive cars.
Don't get me wrong I've used a lot of different makes and they all have their ups and downs but for that money I'd rather have the Vaio.

Makes sense...only get what you pay for I guess but nothing is bullet proof...
