Number two:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 Processor
1.6GHz
667MHz FSB
2MB Cache
1024MB RAM
100GB Hard Drive
128MB Intel GMA 950 Shared Graphics


I'd have thought the second, but I'm not on top of the latest in computing TBH.

PS Number two is £100 more, so that's not what I wanted to hear! :S

its got a 2mb cache etc will be much faster with the 2GB of ram also.

Are they laptops by any chance?

The second is indeed more powerful but only in the same sense that Lada is more powerful than a Trabant.

Yup, they're "ultra mobile" laptops.

I would choose the second and upgrade the memory to [max] and then remove Vista, back to XP Pro
