surely the grou[p n ecu only caters for a specific type of car. whats the likely hood yours will match it exactly? i rekon unlikely...best off having it all remapped. or finding out the group n ecu setup and trying to match that
the group n can cope with inlet and exhaust mods(exhausts,ik kits,manifolds,cats etc)but if you go onto serious headwork and cams then you need a remappable chip to get the best out of the mods.
I have posted the same topic on the RSClub and a few people have said not to touch hill power chip, because have heard alot of problems about it especially for the mk1 172, aaarrrgggghhhhh HELP
