Which oil?

Hi, I'm considering doing my own oil change on my 172. Can anyone recommend the best oil to use? Is an engine flush a good idea?

It's really down to preference, I doubt anyone can really tell the difference between brands of oil, but fully synthetic is what you want.

0W-40 or 30 for the sports ??

5-40 or 10-40 fully syn are the type of oils you realy want to use.

Renault recomended fluids/amounts/grades to be used.
