which sat nav?

im thinkin of buyin sat nav this wkend for uni and stuff, just wondering which is the best i should get?
looking to spend no more than £200

I've got a Garmin Street Pilot c320, only used it a few times, but seems pretty good.

I personally have a TomTom500 and I've found it just about the most usefull toy I've ever owned. So so handy, every journey is a piece of piss, especially if it's to a place you dont know at all. It takes the stress out of a trip and hitting 'home' for the return journey is so nice.

Its also great even if you know the route, just in case you get stuck in traffic or diverted and need to use roads you dont have the first clue about. The speed camera alert feature is also brilliant.

I've found it makes my trips around the country a complete doddle. No maps, no stress, just good concise directions door to door.

I have TomTom 5 on my PDA and its great can't fault it, used it mainly on long journeys and volume is loud enough to hear over my 1.9 diesel LOL. Only used tomtom so can't comment on any others but i am glad i have it.

Stretch to £250 and you'll be able to buy the TomTom One which is a great unit with a fantastic GPS chipset. You cannot go wrong with one of those.
