I want to spend £25 max on a good wax that provides a decent shine and lasting protection...

The following wax's have been mentioned a lot on this site but I want to know which is the best and which you would buy?

Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax
Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue
P21S® Concours Look Carnauba Paste Wax

I'm fully open to suggestions so if you can think of any others then feel free to mention them...

My car is Grey btw and I'll be using SRP and EGP with the wax...

Cheers

As far as waxes go P21s is fairly long lasting, should be 3-4 weeks :)

LOL P21s is great for looks nowt else!

As far as waxes go they are all 3 are very low in durability stakes - All of the 3 waxes you list none are long lasting or durable. You may get 4 weeks max out of all 3 if you lucky. Picking out of the 2 P21s would be my choice as it looks best out of the 3 and the easyist to use.

Using them over EGP the durability does not really matter anyway. The more durable waxes for that 25 quid budget - Megs 16 and the collinites will last longer but not look as good.

No good suggesting Swissvax as the entry wax Onyx is 40 quid, and Zymol Tititanium is 70 quid. Both the above will look superb and last. Swissvax Best of Show is the best looking wax I have used and should get 10-12 weeks durability which is excellent from a pure carnuba.

Chemical guys xxxx hardcore past wax is good enough imo . Looks good , easy on and off . If your gonna wax your car every couple of weeks then durability isn't really an issue .

I've yet to see a wax that is pure carnauba , typical content is probably around 15 - 30% as it's as hard as iron and needs mixing with lots of other ingredients to make it soft enough to apply without causing any damage to the paintwork.
