Whining sound

My Clio has developed a whining sound when de accelerateing ever since I replaced the n/s drive shaft not sure if it's got anything to do with the shaft or if it's gearbox whine and help would be grateful

Mine does it, means the box is knackered or you've used the wrong oil?

What oil should be in ther? Mite try fresh oil

Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80 Gear Oil (3 LITRES)

I used 3.1L, but just used the 3 x 1L bottles and put 100ml back in from the oil that came out as it was nice and clean anyway.

Hopefully its because I haven't put enough oil back in then as it as fine before

Just keep topping it up until it comes out of the filler hole. (not the breather hole on top of the box)

Need the car level ideally.

Cheers guys I only put two bottles (2l) in so will get some more and top it up until it comes out the side then
