white marks on black trim

ive got white marks on my plastic black trim around the side mirrors and scuttle panel from polish/waxing. what should i use to clean them up as it really bugs me when i spend hours cleaning the car but can`t get them clean with the rest of it. ta.

I used a soft pencil rubber as advised by somebody on here- it took it off pretty good- leaves it a bit dull so you need a clean up afterwards, black plastic cleaner type stuff.

As said, Pencil rubber, Then a dish washing brush and some fairy liquid. Then get the shine back using bumper care of back to black etc.

AG Bumper Care will get rid of it.

AG Bumper care will hide it for 2 minutes you need to clean it first using APC and a magic eraser or brush or something before applying

The AG Bumper Care seems to be holding up well on mine, no reappearance of the white marks so far. The cloth I applied it with ended up filthy too, so I thought it was doing it's job?

Is APC made by Autoglym?

I've bought Autoglym bumper care, SRP and Intensive Tar Remover and I've got white marks on my black trim, I'm guessing SRP would add more white marks and not remove them?

Yeah the white marks on mine were from using SRP.

If you have AG Fast Glass, this is the best way of removing SRP.

APC - you can use any, Tesco sells a product called 'Daisy' which costs 65p for 1.5L, and can be diluted 10:1... ideal for wheels, arches, sills etc

APC is All Purpose Cleaner, even house hold stuff can be used as an APC. The strongest I've used is G101 made by auto smart. You dilute 1:10 with water, get that stuff in your eye and it feels like grit.

Swarfega wipes we use them at work and does the trick, Wouldnt use G101 either on the trim personally its bloody strong stuff
