just bought one from my mate for £150, along with a full magnex and de-cat for £190, i take it is obviously a straight swap from his mk2 172 to my 172 cup?



does anyone run this set up and can i expect a nice throaty roar? is it worth getting a dastek or similar now?!

If its the Hillpower semi-open kit, the noise is absolutely brutal!

yes its the one on their website with the samco hose section and its in sort of a silver metal semi-shield thing

Had one for a while in combination with the Hillpower cold air feed and Grp N ECU. The noise was outstanding, but I reckon the car is faster now Ive reverted to the OEM airbox (but keeping the other bits).
