Who here owns a BlackBerry Bold (9000)?

Ditto. I'm a bit stuck on a few things though... like WAP. Is the browser purely for wifi?

No the browser will work using a Wifi, 3G, Edge or GPRS connection.

Hmmm. mine seems to set to only scan for wifi. Any ideas?

i have one but i think the browser is s**t. everything else is great!

Update the software David to version .185 instead of .167, it makes a hell of a difference

I briefly had a BlackBerry Storm, for the short time it was working it was great. Was useless most of the time tho. I asked Vodafone to sort me out a swap to the Bold and then they messed me around and lied to me once too often so I jacked my contract in on the 13th day. Really regret they never sent me the Bold they promised but didn't deliver. It does look like a great phone.

Whats the crack with these? Im on orange, do you need a blackberry contract to use all of the features?

Download Opera Mini and use that as your browser, I have the 8320.
I'm wish I'd waited for the bold though
