Widescreen format(16:9) on a hdtv Question?

You guys seem to know your teles... Quick question..

Im considering buying this samsung lcd in 26 or 32, but it says NO 'widscreeen' format.

Some of my dvds are widescreen, will i still have the ghey black lines top and bottom of the screen? will there be a setting to change it to 16:9 format, or do i need to buy a different tv?

only thing i can help you with is there are different widescreen rations other than 16:9, so some dvds still have black lines at the top and bottom, even though its on a widescreen tele

Surely a misprint - check the spec on the Samsung website if you need re-assurance.
