Widest tyres possible to fit a valver?

Ok 16inch rims, whats the widest tyres I can fit? I stupidly just bought some alloys on ebay without checking the width, they are 8j which is 235 I think? Will these fit :S

depends on the offset of the wheels

As said offset and tyre width are important if they're more than 7" as they could catch on the suspension

ET35 214/40 16 can be run very low. Had them on a Valver about 10years ago.. no issues.

Think you could get 225s on them actually? Would these fit then?
