Will 1*2 speedo work in a 1.2

Hi did look in past posts but no joy
Since i bought my 182 my missus has been pestering me to fit a set of clocks from a 172/182 in her 2002 1.2 clio, question is will they work ok any help will be appreciated regards Chris

Well yeah they will plug in but the speedo is different so it won't show the right speed.

My 1.2 has the silver ones. i think you can just get the silver but and put it in may be wrong tho.

How is it different and why wont it show the right speed is the calibration different or is it the wheel size?

The non-sports don't go as high as the sports do on the speedo so the ratio will be out where the needle moves
