will a 172 gear stick fit the 1.2

i have just got me a 172 gear stick witht eh leather know on and want 2 replace mine for the 172 1 will it all fit ok and is it iasy to reomve the stick

I think its only a circlip that holds it in have seen it done looked easy have you got a Haynes manual

i not got the haynes manual , so does the old stick just clip out and i push the new one in
