will an F4Rt fit in a mk3 bay?

ohh yes i can feel a project coming on lol got a mk3 with a cambelt failure. since they are slightly bigger anyone know if an F4Rt with the 6 speed box will fit in the bay?

Box will fit as its the same ND0 box in the 197, as for fitting the turbo/downpipe etc in that would be interesting as its mega mega tight in a meggy bay as it is.

The F4rt is drawing to fit with the 6 gears boxe only, due to the cylinder block finting face.
It doesn't fit with the JC5 182's gear box.

But, it might be impossible to stay F4rt + gerobox in the 182 bay, without any modification...

Yes it will fit - ive got a 225 complete eng, loom, box etc etc for £2000 + vat


Better still drop the VAG 1.8T engine in instead - more reliable, more power and very very tunable
