Enigines blown up in my 16v, so ive gotta get a new engine, if i manage to find a williams engine will it mate onto the old gearbox, or will i need that 2.

Yep you can use the 16v gearbox if you want.

will that maker accelerate slightly quicker, isnt it a closer ratio?

Acceleration Quicker, Slower top speed.. I think.

The gearbox should be fine.

However the Willaims gearbox is stronger then the 16V one it uses stronger parts from the 19 diesel engine. So be careful. Can you not get hold of the williams box as well? Its easier replacing the box now for the Williams one rather than possible having to replace the gearbopx at a later date when the box breaks under the strain of the 2 liter engine
