Will my car fail and MOT

  Mk4 .:R32
With 3/4 plate, no side lights and no rear numberplate light?

Easy to sort obviously, just need to know before I take it in. Also, if they did say it had failed on having a 3/4 plate for example, could I just take the standard plate with me on collection and swap them over there and then?

the rear light and side lights i would imagine are a defo and yeah a friendly mot tester wouldnt have a problem with you swapping the number plate over, as long as the spacing looks ok id say it should pass

just stick the plate over it with tape or somet

I thought that, cos at the mo its stuck on with neoprene with strong adhesive on both sides, if I start swapping the plates it will loose its stickiness!

Also, the passenger headlight is levelled quite high (tried changing it but it's f**ked), would they fail it for that as well?

maybe if you take all 4 wheels off to be sure then put it in for mot they might not notice the missing numberplate or light

well if you stand infront on the car you can't notice it, but if you bend down to the level you would be in a car, it feckin blinds you

well the place I was going to get it done is across the road from work, a family run garage, which I'm pretty sure have interbred a few times, so they probably won't know how to change the headlight level.

They pretty much told me to f**k off when I asked them to look at the speedo light as it wasn't working. I only use them for convenience
