will my tyres rub?

mk1 clio lowered 55mm on 195/50 tyres.

ive been told it will in another thread. i didnt think it would...

got round to doing it mate.

thats 55 bit higher on the back with 45's not 50
i would go 45

from what I have read in the past sam you are better with 45 profile tyres. With 45's chances are you won't get any rubbing but with 50's there is a good chance you will, though I have heard of people who have had no rubbing on 50's.

turns out 2 are 45 and 2 are 50.

debateable if u were to buy them new from a shop ud get 45, but u can get 50's on with limited scrapping i believe, seem to remember final_maxim had 50's all round?

I would put the 45's on the front sam. There would be plenty room at the rear with the 50's.

only just seen the thread sorry. 195/50 15's dropped on 55 mil springs front = no rubbing whatsoever on full lock or anything

on rear dropped 80 mil it rubbed slightly on speed humps if i hit them too fast or was 4 up
