Seems like you both know very little about the comparative spec lists, seen as that’s all we can go on till release date, all that can be done is look at the facts/numbers and speculate..

For a start, it would appear that the PS3’s processor is twice as powerful with 2.0 TFLOPS over the x-box 1.0 TFLOPS.

The GPU benched marked something like 3 times more the x-box, with support for duel screen output..

Etc etc etc cant be arsed…

I was going to write a big tech guide for you two to read, but think it would have gone straight over your heads; it would appear that you are both anti Playstation for some reason or thoroughly misinformed.

Over the years I have owned a PS1, PS2 and a PSP so I'm definately not anti Playstation but I do know that the PS3 will not offer us anything vastly superior to the 360.

erm im in no way anty sony i own a ps1 and ps2. its very much like car specs there is specs on paper and there is performance in the real world.

sony seem to be doing a fair bit of backtracking on their original specs as lee said (maybe you will trust him he does have quite a few ps3 devboxes sat near him)

sony are great at bullshitting people with marketing hype like the ability to run 2 screens at 1080p erm now it cant and never will it only has 1 hdmi port and that sonly on the top of the range one they even claimed it would have 3 network ports !!! and 7 controllers !!!

it gets to the point with specs that you need huge leaps in power to make any difference just like cars. eg master system to mega drive to ps1 to ps2/xbox also remember the neo geo !!! great console but no games, atari jaguar that was dual core !!!

games make the console hence the xbox wasnt that good as sony had a strangle hold on the good franchises but now alot of them are going dual platform with same release dates so their hand is now diminishing imho their only stronghold is japan and thats the market ms cant really crack they love their home grown talant too much

I heard game testers are supposed to have intelligence and have an analytical and systematic approach to reviewing unreleased games to help coders and developers produce/release great games, I will refer you to a previous comment made by yourself..

It seems to me that its like what the press do with footballers....build them up and then when they get so successful then people can`t wait for them to fail...sad really but thats life. At the end of the day the PS3 is going to have great graphics (as good as the xb360 would do me) excellent games (in the pipeline + god knows how many from the huge back catalogue, internet access ( and don`t give me the " copying of Xbox live BS"....pretty much because of the PS1/PS2 that MS joined the console race so did they copy of Sony..no of course not!) great controllers, plus Bluray etc. Thats more than enough to keep me going...pick one and enjoy it!
