Williams Springs

Does anybody know where i can get pair a sensibly priced standard front springs from for my Williams. Ive tryed GSF and Europarts so far ! Also what does a white dot on the spring actually mean ?

Woohoo, ive become a Williams spring expert over night.

Been a busy lad today....Been getting quotes for custom made jobs (dont ask about the price, or the hassel), scanned the sets avaliable from Desmond Tweaks, 16V are differant to Willys, didnt want to go down the road of a second hand pair - as they could be just as shagged as mine.

Had to resort to a new £85 per spring from Renault. Not best impressed, But it has to be done.

Not many options avaliable to us williams lot it seams.

Illusion: Got a pair of new front Shocks for £85.12 inc. VAT and the members discount from Renault in Romford, arrived the next day!

or scrap the standard setup and go get a set of AVO springs and adj shox for £450.........same ride height.........not too harsh over the bumps ......and just adds a little bit more firmness thru the corners, no more body roll

Is it really the same ride height??

I was told that any aftermarket setup would lower the car slightly (inc coilovers etc) but if thats not the case then ill be saving....
