Window Buttons...

Does anybody know if you can use the Drivers side 1-touch window button on the passenger window and sunroof? If so does anybody know where you can get hold of them?

yeah was thinking the same thing, prob could get one from renault but i bet theyd rape you, best off at a scrappies for a few quid.

Not tried it but the fact that the drivers side switch has 5 pins on it and both the passenger switches have 6 pins might cause a problem, not sure about the sunroof, not got one!

You will have soon Mr Brown! Malc and myself have a nice little tin opener.. but it might turn into a soft top - could get carried away!

matt any idea why there is different pin arrangement? surely because of the one touch mechanism in the drivers one? in that case could possibly rewire into it? unno just guessin g till i investigate a bit more..

Id say its because both switches make a connection, as in, you need both switches there to operate the window, to complete the circuit.

The one touch cleverness is inside the switch, i put a one touch switch into my 16v that didnt have it as standard and it worked ok.

ah i see mat. seems a strane way to do it, but then what do i know, i can just about turn a tv on
