Window gone down... Won't come back up

Hi all,

My mates got a 1.2 ph2 Clio, he opened his window and it won't come back up, any ideas as too why?

It currently sat in the carpark with the window down in the rain.

Anyone got any ideas?

Window motor/regulator at a good guess. Take it to a local garage and they should be able to put the window up.

Dead regulator, £70ish for a new one iirc

door cards off and have a look, and get out of the rain if you can

Try the switch before you do anything else - I once did the whole jobbie with new bits and it still didn't work - turned out to be simply the switch!
