Don't think so no, mine certainly didn't when the driver's window was smashed and had to be replaced, think I just paid a £40 excess. Might smash my front windscreen next, has a little annoying chip in it!

You can get chips repaired to 98% perfect.
Hmmm not sure id feel too good about putting a power drill & fitting on my screen !
Haha can imagine that going very wrong:nono:

how do you measure that?
i would never do that - my dad has a porsche 911 - had to have windscreen replaced - rubber seals took a load of laquer off in the process! not good!
No insurance price definately doesnt go up if you claim for a windscreen (used to work for aa insurance)
Cupcrazy - who has fixed them for you? - would like to get rid of a window scratch on my car
Ooh, might have to make a call then.
And ph-reakbone, yuuttuupppp. Still got a buggering kitchen sat in my hallway that needs fitting.
I asked alan this the other day, As he knows people who take scratches out of watch faces...I'm sure he'll let me know at some point.
I have the same problem on mine!
so the best way to solve this is to make your windscreen of a thousand watch faces?
surely thats either economical or sensible?
