Window switch makes hazards flash

Hello all, my first post and it's a problem, albeit a minor one.

On my 172 Cup I can make the hazards flash by holding the electric window switch in the up position. Only does it on drivers window switch.

Any ideas?

Mine's done this. I just flashed the hazards by using the hazard button then did the windows again and it stopped it. Common fault Ive been led to believe

If its only on the drivers side then i'd go for UCH straightaway, the passenger side window doesn't go through the UCH but the drivers side does for the one touch function. Not minor or cheap i'm afriad, going to be the best part of £300-400 as it needs to be fitted by renault or someone with a clip computer as it needs to be coded to the car for immobiliser. The part is about £250 iirc, might be a bit cheaper now actually.

Hi,

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll live with it rather than pay £400 at this point. It does it intermittently and only if I keep the button down after it's closed the window.
