Winrar Password Recovery

I backed some files up ages ago and have just come across them again but can''t remember the passowrd.

I've tried a winrarpassword recovery program but had no luck!

I can't think it can be that hard to bypass?

Any help?

Aye, depends how good at constructing P4sSw0rd5 you are, but you can brute force .RAR archives fairly quickly.

you'd probably be better of trying to remember the password, unless you know its something obscure, but even then your word list might not even have it in there...was this an archive of your p**n collection?? :rasp:

I can take weeks running it non-stop to actually get the password out.

Depends on how long it is and how complicated!

I wish it was my p**n collection - i lost that ages ago!

Is it really that hard to crack one? You'd think it would be quite easy as so to speak its only a protected folder!

I tried that password remover and didn't do anything

I cracked a password with 7 characters in 5 hours the other day and my computer isn't great. How big is the file that you need to crack?
