Wiper stalk button (16v)

Im new on here so youll probably see a lot of random posts from me. Not sure where to put this one so this will have to do for now.

1996 16v, what does the button on the end of the wiper stalk do?????

Nowt.

Lifted from the R19 which used it for computer function.

Stupidly coming from a Metro with variable speed intermittent wipers thought it changed wiper intermittency but does nowt.

on the 19 it controls the trip computer thingy, on the valver it can be used to over ride the immobiliser temperarily, its been asked a zillion times lol, i even had a scanned pic of the manual explaining what it did! the buttons nothing worth bothering about though. oh and welcome to the club!
