The T5-R was just different colours and a few extras plus it was 240bhp

All the other T5s are 220bhp but they all chip to the same 290 - 300bhp with a good exhaust

When those bright yellow fast estates came out (850 T5R?) There was a rumour going round school that they went faster in reverse than a metro could go in 4th! lol!!

A mate has the estate version, chipped to 300ish bhp, with suspension and brake upgrades. Black with slight tints, looks quite subtle though. Waiting for weather to be good and its service, then he said he'd take me for a spin

Manuals are mid 6's to 60

Autos are 7.0 iirc

Dads mate has an ex traffic one of these from the police auctions, silly fast, tweeked suspension and brakes to boot so goes well, didnt realise they were that cheap
