I suppose youve got to think of it more in terms of whatll happen to your insurance if it gets nicked. If youve got protected full ncb, its probably not worth it.
Insurance companys arnt interested if you have a tracker installed, well mine wasnt. They only stipulated an immobilliser, although I have got plenty more than that!!!!
The trouble with Tracker is that you need to know it been nicked, contacted the police and got an incedent number and only then will Tracker contact the police and enable the unit so it can be tracked.
No good if you are on your 2 weeks holiday to Majorca.
i question trackers ,,would you want your car back after some t**t has ragged your door pot holed your wheels and red lined tour engine till it bounced?burn it out and dont give it me back
There are different types of traker though, the 24hr monitor and retreive traker is put straight in to action as soon as the car is stolen because you arm it remotely and then if it isnt disarmed by the owner it tells the traker monitor people it has been stolen, this way you could wake up to a knock at the door telling you that your car has been retreived without you even knowing it had been stolen,
