Would i just be wasting my time

  Dynamique Flamer
Depends if you laid out a plan on what you were going to spend on it and knew you would get a decent amount in return it would be ok

That would be worth £600+ down here with a MOT. However its being sold by a trader, if it was a simple case of a wash and a hoover I think he would be doing it himself. My guess is it will want some stuff for the MOT, it only takes a couple of tyres etc and it soon eats into your profit, might be worth a good looking over.

^^ yeah thats what i was thinking,if it was a simple MOT pass he would just do it himself

it would be simple to sell once MOT'd but might be a bit of a risk for such a small profit

  Clio 172 Cup
You would make more money breaking it.

but the amount of time you spend doing that, it wouldnt be worth the hassle + you would be left with a stripped car, shell, which would be a heap!!! depends if you got the time and space

in buying something like this for £100 and trying to make money on it

bearing in mind i know f**k all about cars

probably not worth it just a stupid sunday idea

if you have the space why not break it and learn about cars while doing it ;) i would but my drive is on a steep slope :dapprove::dapprove:

the body looks to be in good condition. break it and sell the bits on ebay/ here or have a project car :p

I think my old man would rather just give me the £250 profit than have a MK1 Clio on the drive that was in the process of being broken for spares!

  S3, Polo
I wouldn't - Not enough of a margin to be worth MY time.

However, if you're keen and you're savvy where you get bits from (breakers, ebay, etc.) it COULD work out...

My sister just needed 2 new tyres for her MOT (on crappy Fiesta steel wheels). I just bought a set of alloys with new-ish tyres from a breaker for less than the price quoted by Kwik Fit for two boots!
