I am unsure in what to class "good" beading?

my cars is fairly well looked after ( goor Detail every other week)

And when it rains compared to my familys wagons my car has beading on the paintwork.

Is there a way to tell if it need more or less wax etc depending on the beading formed on the paint.

3 shots from today all taken in the rain.

Theres no good or bad beading or ideal beading size lol . Beading just means you've got plenty of wax on helping to protect your paintwork from the elements , therefore the water runs off rather than sitting on the bodywork leaving waterspots , also " helps " to protect from bird s**t , tar spots , insects etc ....... much easier to remove when you come to clean .

Beadings beading, clean polished paint beads, people read to much into. Some products are designed to sheet water.

As a sign - tight, uniform sized beads that are quite high should show newly applied wax. As it wears off the beads become more shallow and larger in diameter.

looks good. been washing mine with some turtle wax two in 1 wax and wash recently because of the weather, in other words. my paint is almost bare.. Ive shown it no respect in the past 3 weeks. Its due for a polish soon and a very very good detail.

I just left mine in the rain! Looked very good from about 10 foot away just grimy up close. The torrential rain actually cleaned it up rather well.

Gave it a coat of Body Blitz sealant and some more 50/50 today, Collinites on the windows, Jet Seal on the wheels, then all plastics and arches. It then rained...
