sacrifice a fast car for a better house ?

The reason i ask is my mates have all recently moved up to powerful cars Audi S3, Bishi FTO and Supra twin turbo but they are still living in old council houses or flats (nothing wrong with this as i have moved from one to my current home)

I have a nice newly build house in a good area but cannot afford a 172 or S3 etc because of the mortgage etc what is everyone elses opinion

Just get yourself a cheap old car which is still respectively quick.

I wouldnt want to have a bloody fantastic car sitting outside a council house. I mean - without being rude - council hooses aint usually in the best areas - thered be more chance of the car being nicked/vandalised.

Only wish my car would fit in the garage - bloody new build houses, bloody wee garages.

Not a big fan of the live for today Donkey Doo,plan for the future and look forward to it.Ive tried the live for today attitude and you just end up skint and pissed off you are still here with no money because you blew it all with the theory its your last day.

I will bet anything you like in a few years your mates will be the jelous ones wishing they got themselves a house,ill also bet that around the same time you will be settled enough to get nice cars again as well just to rub it in !
