Wrap Colour Ideas

What about an Iridium / Anodized look wrap? trying to find pics but there is a Hilux round my way that looks like the old illegal motor bike helmet visors, looks awesome.

that's looks fairly close to Estoril blue, within reason.

if you like the satin grey's, did you ever see the pictures of mine, and ash's old MK1 FRS's?

Random way of putting this, but there is a Hilux near me that looks like these nuts lol obviously you can pick the color combination.

Nooo, ive had 2x MK1 FRS's aswell, you are thinking of my MK2 FRS. the guy I sold my second one to instantly ripped it apart and had it painted a Matte Porsche grey, it looked gorgeous.
then Ash (Vtec Yo) had his MK1 wrapped in a slightly darker grey aswell.

ill dig up some pics and ping them over to you as the morning goes on

I like that on wheel bolts, but not convinced it would work on an entire car.. Have to see one to believe it lol.

You'll be surprised at the price of just the vinyl in some of those colours.

Really looking forward to it! Its a bit of a weekend away for us too. @Chapppers11 made a post about it not long ago, hence where I got the idea!

It's a great day out, really learn a lot and they buy one of those Subway trays for lunchtime as well!

Some nice colours but I agree with Dan. Most normal wraps in gloss metallic just look crap. Orange peely and zero reflection. Hence why most go matte.

Go matte. Invest in proper detailing products and the finish will last a long time.

Unless its a track car, i'm not for wraps at all! They look terrible. That FRS now looks like a Ghia, with white wheels ffs!

Don't think a wrap would look anywhere near as good as the paint work.

OK yeah the standard colour is bloody nice too, but then EVERY other FRS has that too. Nice to have something unique I think.

The gloss carbon looks smart, but some of the colours people have wrapped are erm....questionable?

Im sure pwpro do the insides of the doors etc too, im not 100% but im sure i remember seeing a corsa vxr which was wrapped by them, which had them done at one of the meets i went to.

Doors are all done on mine. Sills, door frame etc the only part that isn't done is the bay and the boot

I could get the sills and frames done too if I wanted.

Doesn't bother me too much though, unless it's two ridiculously different colours.

Silver base with a matt grey wrap wouldn't bother me at all. Probably wouldn't even notice it.

Hexis wrap is cheaper than 3M so brings the cost down quite a bit and it was just a man in a garage that was starting out.

What sort of prices can people get for clios? I looked into wrapping mine white and got quotes of £1200 etc.. Can't help but think I was being fobed of as it's Cheshire and they would rather wrap range rovers etc for people with too much money.
