X360 Slim @ Sainsbury's

A mate of mine just told me this so thought I'd look about the net and it would apear to be true.

On the launch day (16th July) Sainsbury's will be selling the 360 slim for a mear £140! (£139.99 to be precise)

Defo tempted to get one now! Not sure if it's going to be a que up at silly o'clock job though. Won't bother if it is lol!

Just called my local superstore and spoke to the manager of the Audio/Visual Department.

He does know how much they will sell for but he can't say untill they are actually launched. He did however say it's NOT going to be £140. Whether he's being a smart arse or not I don't know as technically £140 isn't £139.99 lol

He also said "good luck getting one as all the large stores are only getting either 3 or 6 consoles in thier first allocation. More will be delivered in the next 10 days but the deal won't be applied"

looks that way oh well....however they do have the basic Elite pack for £139.99 so maybe someone somewhere got thier wires crossed
