Xbox 360 Question

Hiya

Just brought a 360 and was just wondering if its possible to upload picture from my PC or Camera and use it as a gametag. Iv tried connecting my USB Pen and can see the pictures, but no option to save them to the 360 Hardrive and use them?

i'm pretty sure you can only do that with the webcam unfortunately... i may be wrong though

Yeah webbcam only sadly. Or you can buy a picture pack (thats what I did).

if you go into the xbox live marketplace and look around there, choose a game and click on it to show the downloads (there will be demo's, bonus maps, themes, trailers, map packs etc) you won't be able to see which pictures are which because it only gives you a small preview. Im trying to figure out which picture pack to get but need some help as I can't see them lol

I reckon its worth getting a few mates together and all chipping in for the camera. Then just pass it around to take your profile pics and face masks for Rainbow Six etc.

I bought one have let my bro and mates borrow it although they didn't contribute!

Ive even hooked mine to a media centre in the hope I could copy a picutre off it but no...
You "might" be able to do it if you got one of those SATA adaptors for your PC and read the xbox hard drive and use the computer to copy the file across :S

Get an American account and download Family gamer pics I think mate, someone on my list did it :clown:

BTW I just got a camera & 12 months live for £45 from HMV, which aint too bad, plus they chucked in an extra 12 months by accident haha

Also you get another headset with this - Could as well flog it as mine is fine

Register a new hotmail account as if you were an American, USA residence etc. Then create a new account on your 360, link it to this, and you'll have an American account, and should have access to all their Marketplace etc

Not sure about swapping your email address, have you logge onto xbox.com and had a look on there ?

yeh can't find anything on there mate. I sent them an email about a week ago asking how I could do this and they said I was capable of doing it but he didn't explain it very well lol What your email address I will send you there email see if you can figure it out lol Also about creating an American Hotmail account, If I create one called 'Blah@hotmail.COM' instead of '.CO.UK', go onto box live, how would I link this email adress to the same gamertag? I've been told by there highly trained staff that I can't do this...?! Whats your gamertag mate, might be easier to talk to you on live

If you have an american account you can only buy points with a credit card which has an american billing address or use a points card from america, european points cards dont work on american accounts, i tried it to download some hd films n that but didnt work. Some people get pictures of things by taking a picture of a picture they have printed off but it never looks that good.
