xbox 360 tv/monitor question

Is it possible to hook up an xbox 360 to a pc monitor?

Got my 360 last night, havent set it up yet, but was just curious if I could use my 17" TFT instead of my oldish Sony CRT tv, until I get an hd tv sorted?

Yes it is. You'll need a HD VGA cable and you must be able to take the existing cable off your monitor (so that the HD VGA cable plugs straight into the monitor).
You'll then be able to enjoy the 360 in all it's HD glory!!
The 360 HD VGA leads are like rocking horse poo though, I brought mine of eBay (not an official MS one but it works fine).

I got the premium pack, not checked what leads are inside, but I assume this isnt one of them?

yep, premium doesn't include a VGA lead.
