Xbox Extender router ?

hiya i was wondering if anyone have media center on their pc/laptop and has it connected to the xbox 360?

i want to be able to watch my films from my laptop on my tv through the xbox, or can i not do this?

anyone know which router can do this because my bt one at the minute cant support g ( i think ) .

they can all do it. though it be better if it supported 54mbit and over. i use my normal pc using media sharing to watch divx and xvid movies on my tv via my 360

i do and i use a d-link , i also set it up on a mates netgear, v easy.

yeah but it says something about changing the router setting to g instead of a, b .

i cant watch videos with this be router, does that mean i have to buy another router that supports g ?

i would say yes....but i'm sure you can run it on a b network too... :/

its talking about speeds G is 54mbit anything slower may not be fast enough to stream good quality video

aslong as the router is 802.11G then it will work flawlessly

dunno, i tried it at my last house and i didnt work with that router aswell , that was a netgear one, dont think that supported g,

supose i could get a good deal seeing its christmas time
