Xbox One Problems - wont download the first update.

Hi guys,

Having major problems. When trying to do the 'out if the box' initial update on the Xbox, it gets to 78% then cuts off.

Anyone else had this or heard of it?

Pretty frustrating when you can't get in and play a game after a £500+ outlay.

Internet connection drop outs?

Try connecting to the router via an ethernet cable.

Mine did that on wifi, restarted it with the Ethernet cable in and it updated fine.

Yeah tried both wifi and Ethernet (speed test comes in at 20mg plus).

It's strange how it gets to 78% every time and stops.

Possible Microsoft server issue?

How long have you left it? Do you get an error?

The percentage goes up and up until 78% and aprox 121mb left to download- then the 'there's been a problem' try again, check connection or turn off consol screen comes on.

It happens at the same point every time. Router has been turned off, the console has been off.

Not sure what we can do anymore. Ill see at 11pm tonight when maybe the Internet connection is better.

Yeah, we had to do the USB upload thing.
