Xbox problem

Got a problem at the moment where my controller keeps disconnecting whilst in the middle of games, now i know its not the bat as i have changed them and it's still a problem. I have also tried my 2nd controller and this just doesn't get picked up by the xbox!

Does this sound like a new xbox is needed or has anyone heard of this problem and know a fix?

Are you connecting them correctly.
Pressing the little button at the top of the controller and the one on the xbox at the same time to connect them ?

yeah have done that.
its more the problem that it seems to loose connection during game play and then will re-connect itself shortly after. pisses me right off when in middle of game!

mine does this all the time, the battery pack feels loose. duct tape the battery pack so that its on secure, then you'll know whether it was loose or not lol
