Xbox360 not faulty, Sony in the Sh*t

  Yaris Hybrid
Basically Sony allegedly paying employees to go onto online forums and post fake stories about faulty consoles.

This is similar to the scandal over Driver 3 where the company behind the game was found to be employing a marketting company that got its employees to go onto forums pretending to be owners of the game and talking about how good it was - when in reality it was a steaming pile of sh*t.

There has been a lot of noise made about the reported faulty 360s across the United States post launch, but according to some it may be being blown completely out of proportion.

The press and websites alike carried stories claiming 360s were overheating and breaking down left, right and centre at the weekend, but according to Vagusnet.com, the whole thing is a big fabrication. Their own studies suggest that just 0.1% of the total American Xbox 360 shipment is actually defective – well inside the expected boundaries of any product launch.

Indeed, there is a suggestion a higher percentage of PSPs suffered from ‘dead pixels’ than the number of 360s that have overheated, tying in with the rumour we reported earlier of an alleged smear campaign against 360 by Sony. More as it reaches us.
